Can't make a call outside house (that uses wifi). Can send messages. Network OK

Can't make a call on iPhone outside house (inside fine as uses WiFi). Can send messages. Subscription up to date and network fine apparently. This problem has only just started happening.

PS What does the orange dot on phone top corner mean?

What happens hen you try making a call? Does the phone show signal indicators, and a 4G-call indicator?

I get complete silence and then it just goes back to the person selector page, ie if I go the 'recent calls' page on my phone and I click on a person’s name there that I want to call, I get the screen message saying 'calling X’ but I just get silence, no ring tone and after a while the screen goes back to the revent calls page.

It’s not c0nnected to location other than in the house it does works being routed through Wifi the system.

I now can't seem to use the phone outside the house but I can send messages. This problem started two or three weeks ago. All payments are up to date and EE says the network is fine.

When did you last restart your phone or toggle flight mode? What's your basis for saying "EE says the network is fine"?

I suspect you've also replied to this internet forum by using your phone's email client - the end result is all your contact details are now on this forum for the whole internet to see.. an open invitation for spammers to contact you. I'd suggest editing those out unless the site admins beat you to it.
