I'm in jamaica but dnt seem to be recieving my txt from uk eg codes from bank

Can anyone plz help me...I've been without cash since Friday and I'm trying to transfer to an account but my bank always sends me a code.

However, I cannot seem to receive the code as I'm not getting my texts from home (,UK)

Can anyone help plzz?

Is your phone showing a connection to any Jamaican networks? That would be required to use anything reliant on mobile coverage - calls, texts & mobile data.

If you do - can you make & receive calls OK? Can you send text messages?

Yes...I'm connected to a provider. I have duel sim...so a Jamaican sim and
my UK EE sim. Everything is working perfectly.
I still pay for my EE contract and I see everything on my app. I just
can't seem to get my txts from England....and that's a 1st. Maybe I've
touched something while fiddling in my phone but I don't know what it is.

Is it only automated texts that you can't receive, or are you able to receive SMS from other mobile users?

Can you make & receive calls OK? What happens if you send a text message to yourself?

Are the symptoms the same across both Jamaican operators?

I can't receive automated text. I only know this bcoz I couldn't get the
code from the bank.
I didn't think of trying to send myself a SMS but amma try. Tnx
