I am currently in Turkey, I send 3 texts to EE to enable roaming. Last time it worked no problems.

I’ve been told to text, roam, roaming and travel . Travel went through twice but now no texts will go through so the automated answer to the new talk to someone doesn’t work . My Nov bill is just paid so that is not the issue .

Does your phone show a connection to a local network?

Do you have a spend cap on your account?

Yes, I have connections to 3 available networks and no cap. i changed from
automatic to another one and the text is working .
I have a message to say I can have 5000mb for £7.84 a day. Text travel and
this will be done but with no luck. To get into the EE app to select the
data package now the cost is 5 times what it says.
I opted for a call back in 15 mins, but no word from anyone for nearly 40
mins. I’ll hang on and see what happens.

I'm happy to hear your texts are now working.

£7.84 for 500MB per day is the correct price for using the Travel Data Pass in Turkey. Is your data connection working?
