What do they need it for? Surely the disabled could make better use. EE seems to like to discriminate, though...

You could easily make an argument for any single profession or user-class being more or less deserving of promotional offers.

@Failure They still pay for the contract they don’t get unlimited data for nothing and you too can have unlimited data if you pay for it.

Not so much. And deserving? Do you really want me to come up with professions where infinite data would be utterly pointless; mine worker? It's not a matter of whether a group deserves 'promotional offers' as you put it, That wasn't in question. Sure, we could say the miner deserves unlimited data more as he does hard labour underground, but that would be missing the point.

That mine worker would be able to use mobile data outside of working hours, to illustrate my original point. Lack of mobile coverage would only be an issue during their working hours.

Trivial. my point was during their working hours. Also, would Mr Miner not be too tired to use masses of data? The point was that said allowance which I seem to be wrong about anyway was given to NHS employees working 9-5 above ground.
