I have the same issue. The moment I sorted an upgrade with EE, my old phone showed a voicemail alert but there is no voicemail. The new phone arrived and it also shows the red dot on the phone icon but there is no voicemail. However, I have called my number from a different phone and left a test message and this does not show up either.
I’ve tried contacting EE but can’t seem to speak to a real person. Instead I get AI messages that have no relation to my actual issue.
Fuming.

If you call your voicemail, are the newly-deposited messages present?

Under the voicemail menus option 3, there are options to toggle notifications off/on - try choosing option 2 for "enhanced notifications"

@Goodersgold : Get someone to leave you a VM, listen to it & then delete it. See if that clears it.
