I have a similiar issue, not able to receive calls or sms because cant connect to a network.

I have a contract plan and i have not used my EE sim for a month before.

Which wireless network supports EE sim cards in Thailand?

Did you activate roaming before leaving the UK?

This is done by texting ROAMING to 150.

On a pay-monthly plan, roaming is only disabled if specifically requested so. Have you used this SIM abroad previously? Or requested roaming is enabled, usually by texting ROAMING to 150 from the UK?
