Can anyone advise on the current cost for sending picture messages in the UK?

The EE website is absolutely awful and I’ve gone round In circles trying to find more info. All the links that direct you to check plans and terms don’t mention the price.

I found an article in their FAQ that’s states 55p per picture message but last month I was charged 73p per picture (or what they say was a picture) to a phone and user in the same county/ the UK which is Astronomical.

These mobile contracts don't just end, just the min. term expires. They are not fixed term contracts. After the min. term they just carry on at the same price on a rolling 30-days' notice basis until you explicitly cancel or upgrade. There will however be a 10% discount after 3 months.

Thanks! You're welcome 🙂 ! Glad I could be of assistance & it is now sorted.

I wasn't aware people still used EE to send MMS messages. Most people use WhatsApp, Facebook messenger etc which is over data. I do agree those charges are unjustified in 2022.

Simple way round that is buy a payg ee sim apply the £10 pack and every 2/3 top ups you get a boost of 50 mins or 500mb i have been doing this for 2 years now. And get 20odd gb data unlim text and 1000mins call time for £10 a month pretty good.i just buy a second hand phone on ebay as dont realy care about having hundres of pounds worth of tech on me 24/7 🙂

Hi,

i fully agree, naively i sent some pictures of cars to a friend thinking they were included in my contract/tarriff they obviously were not and ended up with an extra £15 charges this month. I too think that in this day and age of huge bandwidth and 5G availability that .73 p per picture is daylight robbery.

EE are and always have been quite expensive, the trade off is that customer service is supposed to be good and coverage is better than most.

This is still a disingenuous way of fleecing loyal customers.
