      <description>&lt;P&gt;Contract phones need to be manually activated for roaming, which is normally done by texting ROAMING to 150 before leaving the UK - this enables access to foreign networks, without which the symptoms you describe, are the result.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Did you do this?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
