Text messages and calls not working in USA,

Hi there, I’m in the USA atm, I’m using the roaming which I activated back in the uk before coming to the USA, i have an unlimited contract at home, I am able to use data only, I cannot send/ receive any messages or calls, I have tried everything online to resolve the problem with no luck, can someone suggest anything else

Have you tried manually connecting to another available network?

What phone are you using?

Did you activate roaming by texting ROAMING to 150?

In addition - did you receive a welcome text message when you first arrived abroad?

Does your phone show a connection to a local network, if so which one?
