Dial *#1234# and post the three sets of numbers.

Have you turned on the service under dial settings.
Are you on EE PAYG or pay monthly contract.
Have you checked your WiFi settings.

You posted to say your phone is not working with WiFi-calling - how so? How is it not working?

The phone signal in our house is very poor. One of our phones, an Oppo,
works fine on WiFi , but the other, a Samsung Galaxy A12, doesn't. It
cannot receive or send calls on WiFi.

So your symptoms are that WiFi-calling is not kicking in when you think it should. Does your phone show a VoLTE indicator next to the signal bars, and if so are you able to make & receive calls?

WiFi-calling is normally set to only kick in when 4G-mobile coverage is deemed unusable, based on radio-criteria. Many Android phones have an option to toggle between "mobile preferred" & "WiFi-preferred" under the WiFi-calling settings. Does toggling yours to "WiFi-preferred" have the desired effect?

@bristolian It wont work if his firmware is incompatible hence why I asked in my first post.

@akc2 click on the green phone - then the three dots - then scroll down to WiFi calling. Or quick panel wifi calling.

Of course, the V2 variant of the A12 supported VoWiFi from launch but I can't recall the V1 variant - OP did say it's worked previously and I suspect there's been some changes to the signalling priorities of late.

Good you've got it working - for the benefit of other users who may have the same issue and come here for assistance, what was the fix?
