Unable to receive calls from NHS 0800

I have an Android Samsung Galaxy J6 600G & recently migrated from PlusNet to EE. Today, I had a very important NHS meeting scheduled by telephone. They repeatedly tried to call from an 0800 number but were blocked.

I have no blocking apps on my phone & the blocked phone number list contains no 0800 numbers. I cannot clear & reset as these numbers listed are abusive callers, mostly 07* numbers. Any advice?

Did you have signal when they tried calling?

Did the call go to voicemail?

We have a signal. I receive a text message saying there was a missed call but they left no message.
