I cannot get an EE signal to text and make calls from Turkey to the UK. I have unlimited data, so do not need more data. I need an EE signal.

Did you activate roaming on your account?

Have you tried rebooting your phone or done a manual search for a network?

Just to let you know, your unlimited data has nothing to do with roaming, roaming costs are extra, you may want to check here:

Using your phone abroad is called roaming - EE only operates in the UK but offers roaming facilities for you to use foreign networks.

If you're on PAYG, roaming is automatically enabled once you've used your phone in the UK

If you're on pay-monthly, you need to enable roaming - which is normally done by texting ROAMING to 150 before travelling.
