Singapore Roaming, I have not been able to access it

Dear all,

For the last 2 days while in Singapore (i.e., since arriving) I have not managed to access any local network nor use my phone, while not on wifi. I have not received, the welcome to singapore message that I often receive when I travel outside on the UK. I have texted ROAMING already to 150, and I have received the most complicated and iunhelpful text, concerning Raoming in the EU (last time I checke Singapore was not part of it). Can someone please assist me with this.

P.S. My roaming on my iphone settings is ON

Have you tried manually searching for a network in your phone settings?

If any show available can you connect to the network?

There is no phone setting to enable roaming, it's a network level setting. You're likely thinking of the data-roaming setting, which just means "can I use mobile data whilst roaming"

What exactly was the response your received from texting ROAMING to 150? Feel free to post a screenshot.
