Lost Phone, but need texts to gain email access, can I forward texts elsewhere

I've lost my phone abroad and cancelled sim. But I need to get to my email, can I forward my texts to my original number to another uk phone number so I can get the authentication pin for email?

Is this something I can do in the online portal or is this something EE can do?

Why cant you just login to your email account to get your messages?

Text messages can only be received by whatever phone your active SIM is within. As mentioned already, you should be able to login to your email account from any email client.

Texts cannot be auto forwarded.
