No texts messages received

Hi.

I bought an esim when I was in dubai recently, I turned off my ee sim from 20th to 30th July so I wouldn't be disturbed whilst on holiday.

When I returned home I turn ee sim back on. I got voicemail but no text messages.

2 did appear next day bit nothing else since. I've had lots of people say they've texted but they are not coming through.

Can anyone help please I have samsung s23.

Are you able to send texts OK and receive them OK now you are back in the UK?

Is it just texts that have been sent whilst you have been abroad you are unable to see?

Text messages usually expire if undelivered after a set time. Historically this was 7days, but I suspect it's nearer 3days now.

Recent texts still being within 3days would explain these symptoms.

Just to confirm, it's texts that were sent while you were away that you haven't received and new messages are coming through?
