I bought a roaming pass before going to Italy 4 weeks ago, sadly it didn't work too well and I had to rely on shop, hotel and restaurant wifi. Now I can't find out how to cancel it. I've tried texting STOP to 150 and got a message saying I'd got the wrong number, " text STOP to 1234 to opt out from [sic] marketing". Anybody got any ideas where to go from here?

Hello @JanisW ,

Welcome to the community,

Just buying a roaming pass does not necessarily enable roaming, as this needs to be activated on your account, which, by the sound of it, you did not do. You can do this by ringing customer service or texting roaming to 150.

You could also ring customer service, who will put a stop to your roaming pass.

Hi @JanisW

Thanks for coming here.

Did you text STOP ROAMING PASS to 150?

If so, please call us on 150 as @Schockwave advised to get this removed and check the account is set up for roaming.

Leanne.

Just make sure you have roaming activated on your account when you next go abroad, it will then always be there, unless you decide to have it removed, this is separate from the roaming pass, which may be the reason why your phone only worked using wifi, as it has to be active on your account.
