Away in Thailand currently, but any thing other than WhatsApp cannot work.

Not tech minded sadly but a need occasionelely to send messages or receive codes and authorisations from the U.K. are impossible as they will not work on my old but trusty i phone 7 .

I have had a basic mobile contract with EE but I cannot get this to work or even contact EE to resolve whatever is the problem! I recently arrived in Thailand and wish to use my phone with its U.K. number for basic things.

If someone could advise please it would help enormousely ? Can receive only WhatsApp messages and many institututions will not use this method to communicate.

Are you on a monthly contract? Did you not make sure that roaming was activated on your account? This only applies to contract customers not pay as you go, as they are automatically activated.

If you have Skype, or equivalent, you may call them on this number: +448000798586.

Otherwise you will have to contact them using another phone, the free number may not work:
