If a person chooses to withhold their number on an outgoing call, then network operators rightly respect that. Legal authorities can obtain the underlying number.

It’s tough to track down a caller with no ID, but there are a few things you can try. I had a situation where I kept getting calls with no caller ID, so I used https://whocalled.co.uk to check if any of those numbers were reported as spam or scams. While it won’t always give you the exact info about who called, it can help you see if others have had similar issues with unknown numbers. It’s a handy tool for getting a bit more info and figuring out if it’s worth digging deeper.
