      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/3698455"&gt;@Nmgibbons&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Purchasing add ons and upping your spend cap does enable roaming on your account. &amp;nbsp; Add ons are just that an add on so you can use your allowances while abroad. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; Having roaming enabled on your account allows your device to connect to a roaming network. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;You’re going to have to contact customer services in order to request roaming be enabled on your EE account.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;To add, enabling the roaming facility is what allows your phone to connect to local networks in foreign countries.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You've alluded to not having a local network connection, is good evidence of roaming not being active.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
