Hi:

Through my personal EE account, I bought a Roam Abroad Pass for my trip to Italy. I have already seen that this Roam Abroad Pass is added as an add-on in my EE account.

May I ask if it is still necessary to send an SMS "ROAMING" to 150 before leaving the UK? Or is the roaming feature automatically activated after I purchase the Roam Abroad Pass?

No, you need to text ROAMING to 150 before you leave UK to enable roaming on your a/c. The Roam Abroad Pass doesn't do that. It is just a billing option that helps you pay for roaming when you are permitted to roam.

No, just to cancel the Roam Abroad Pass. They are entirely separate things.
