topic EE abroad in Mobile Services

I’m looking for advise on using my EE phone abroad.

My husband is in the military and we’re being stationed overseas (EU country).

We were offered our upgrade with the roaming option but now have been told it’s only valid for 3 months and then we’ll be subject to charges.

I’ve had mixed responses from personnel out there some saying they’ve had no issues and others that have been charged . The call centre seem to have little knowledge of this type of situation and recommended we return our phones and get a sim only contract.

Can anyone assist? do EE do a waiver of roaming fees for serving personnel?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

You can find the stable links policy on page 4 of EE Monthly Plan Terms and Price Guide.

Hope this helps.
