I agree that is a little strange @Kooweerup.

It could be helpful for you to check if they are different networks to the ones you can successfully call.

I would recommend reporting back to our technical care team and advise the steps previously provided have not worked so they can complete a further diagnostics for you.

Very recently a phone on my EE account has stopped being able to call some numbers in China. We have the 500 mins International Add-on and it has always worked until now. My wife was trying to call her elderly mother in China who does not have a mobile so there is no option b to call her landline. Oddly some Chinese numbers work and some do not, 2 mobiles work OK and 4 mobiles do not work OK when calling some other family members. Even stranger is that the same numbers, both mobile and landline) which do not work on EE , work OK when called from an O2 handset!. I called EE for tech support and they reset the network for that phone and we rebooted the phone as per instructions but that made no difference. At the moment we cannot tell if it is China blocking some EE numbers or EE not working properly for some International calls. Any ideas ?

Hello @Kooweerup.

The numbers which don't work are they on a different network to the numbers that do work OK?

Hello Katie,

Thank you for your reply. Yes that is possible and likely (and one is a landline, the most important one) but then why would a UK O2 handset be able to call all the numbers ?
