EU Roaming charges

I'm sure this must have been asked before but can't find an answer.

I appear to have this add on at £2.29 per day (for free) and I've used it recently, it was great. My Q is, do I only get charged for any day I use it in the EU and therefore when back in the UK I don't get charged and don't need to cancel anything?

That's completely correct. You only get charged on the days that you use any of your allowances while in the EU.
