Mobile data turned off by operator for sim 1

I've never had any issues with EE and now I get this message come up and No 4G! Really annoying. I have to restart my phone to get my 4G back, why is this happening all of a sudden?? I have over 50gb of data remaining and mobile data turned on. Doin' my head in!

@RobM1234 Sounds like you might have a faulty SIM card and need to request a replacement SIM card. EE will not turn your data off and your device is only reporting it might be turned off because it can not connect to a data service. That message reported by your device doesn’t know it might be a faulty sim so reports back what’s its programmed to say when it gets no data.

Does your phone show VoLTE/4G-calling when this happens?
