Can't call landline to Greece while roaming from the USA

Hi everyone,
I am currently in the USA, I have an international roaming add-on and I am trying to call my parents' landline in Greece but my phone can't connect. I face no problem calling mobile numbers, it's only landline numbers I can't connect to. I am on a monthly payment contract and I didn't have this problem in the past. What has changed?

Can you call landlines in UK & US & maybe other EU countries?

Yes I can call USA landline numbers but not Greek numbers

This is a strange one.

Are you entering the country code before dialling out?

Do you receive any form of message when trying to call the landline numbers?

No, you are still able to make "traditional voice calls" to mobile nos. & US landlines.
