Using phone in Australia

Hi I’m currently in Australia for two weeks and really need to receive a text message on my phone but my phone will only work on Wi-Fi. I’ve switched my roaming on but nothing happens. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Is it definitely a text message and not an iMessage or message through a messaging app? Does your phone show a connection to an Australian network? Are you on contract or pay as you go?

yes definitely text message and no my phone doesn’t show connection to an Australian network. I’m in contract.

I would recommend speaking to our technical support team. Other users in a similar situation use VOiP services such as Skype to call us.
