Ebay Security Codes

Hi there, Can anyone help please? I have a basic Nokia phone, no smart phone as I would hardly use it. My problem is that I am locked out of my Ebay account because when I try to sign in the security codes will not come through on my phone. I had to open another account because the same thing happened before and it's now happened yet again. Have spoken to Ebay and he did manage to send through a 6 digit number but when I tried to sign in again it's still not coming through. I have also had the same problem with my bank and their codes will not even come through to my landline number. Have spoken to the bank a couple of times about this but they just advise me to use landline number and still not working. All this is very frustrating when shopping online and usually end up paying by Paypal. The Ebay thing I do not understand at all and they advised me to contact the phone company.

Any ideas anyone, please? Thank you!

Can you receive texts from other numbers?

If the security codes are not being received by other numbers this would need to be looked into by the company sending the texts.

Hi and thanks for the reply. The only company I get texts from are from EE themselves. I did think about getting a smart phone but was told by my bank that this wouldn't make any difference.
