EU Roaming for pre-2021 contract

Yesterday; 21 Feb 2023, I received a text from EE stating that I will be charged 2 GBP per day whilst I am abroad in the EU, even though I have a pre-2021 contract with free EU roaming clearly stated in the contract. I have not upgraded or renewed and neither have I been informed or agreed to any change.

Is this an error? or has there been a breach of contract?

Have you changed your plan to a SIM Only plan recently?

If you log into your My EE and select add-ons, do you have the £2 charge for using your allowance when roaming showing?
