My son is away in Austria on a school trip. He has an iPhone 11 with full access to EU roaming, plenty of data, and his phone is activated for roaming. Four calls to EE have failed to resolve this and he remains out of touch. Waiting to see if 24 hours after someone said 'there's nothing stopping it working at the EE end', it will work, but nothing so far. Can anyone suggest anything or had a similar experience?

If your son has roaming enabled on his account, and this has worked previously, it is often an issue with connecting to the specific local netork.

Rebooting the phone and manually selecting an alterntive network often resolves this.
