Calls barred despite roaming on

My husband cannot make international calls on his mobile from the Uk, despite setting up roaming on his phone by texting Roam 150 to EE.

Please can someone advise as he is clearly set up on the app, and the text confirms that ‘Roaming’ is on. He is the secondary number in my account, but all our iphone settings appear to be the same.

@Lolly72 : When you are calling from the UK you are not roaming. So switching roaming on or not has nowt to do with it. Where is he trying to call?

Roaming means using your phone on a network outside the UK

Making international calls from the UK just needs the "call abroad & premium rate" option enabled on your online account.

Which you can't currently do yourself but would need to call CS.

Thanks Bristolian. Where can I find this option please, within the account, as I have looked for this option and cannot seem to see it.

You can't! You need to call CS.
