You don't need the £5.46 / day TDP when you have the £10 pm Roam Abroad Pass.

Did you activate roaming on your EE a/c before you left UK by texting ROAMING to 150? Having a roaming add-on doesn't of itself activate roaming on your a/c.

Often just rebooting the phone is the simple remedy. Also try selecting a network manually rather than auto.

I recently set up a plan to enable me to use my data allowance/minutes/texts while in the USA. I was told it would cost £10 and that it would come into effect on the day arrived in the USA (which was yesterday). I received a text from EE yesterday morning confirming permission to use my UK allowance while abroad in the USA. I then received another text from EE saying they had removed my Travel Data Pass. To reactivate it, text TRAVEL to 150. I had previously queried the planned removal of travel data pass as it was scheduled on my account details and was told this was to enable the special £10 rate to come into effect.

However, since arriving in the USA, I have had NO EE CONNECTION WHATSOEVER! My husband is also with EE (pay as you go, not contract like me) and his EE immediately kicked in on landing. We were totally dependent on my phone for navigation to where we were staying and ended up lost in the wilds late at night - a pretty unpleasant predicament! I tried all the usual stuff - turning phone off and on again, making sure data roaming was turned on etc. But nothing! I urgently need to sort this and obviously cannot contact EE from my phone - Please can anyone offer any advice. Thank you
