Hi, I am travelling to Egypt in a couple of weeks however I am not sure how much data roaming will cost while I am there as I do not see any add ons for roaming when I’m Egypt. Please could you assist?

I love Egypt, I've been a few times. Check out our roaming tool for roaming prices while in Egypt. Text ROAMING to 150 before you go to make sure roaming is enabled.

Hi Chris,

None of this is helpful as I have already checked that link. There is no information on data roaming charges and there are also no available add ons for data roaming in Egypt. I even spoke to customer services and they were unable to help and suggested I get a new sim whilst there! Surely EE must know the charges. I’ve never had this issue with my previous network provider when travelling.

The Help page does advise, you can buy a roaming data add-on when you get there. You’ll receive a text when you land with info on this.

Our mobile care team should have provided you with options for a roaming data add-on that can be used in Egypt. Please try calling us again on 150 to get the information needed.
