Mums number is unknown and goes straight to voicemail

Hi my mums number is unknown and when she rings my mobile it goes straight to voicemail I've checked everything and the only thing I have changed is my ee plan. It's quite annoyed especially if it was an emergency. Any suggestions how to resolve this

How is your number shown in your mum's phone? What happens when she dials your number from the keypad manually?

Calls going direct to voicemail when your phone is in-service often means one of two things..

1: You have inadvertently set a "Do not disturb", this will affect all incoming calls unless any numbers are specifically exempted.

2: You have inadvertently blocked a particular number, this would also cause incoming texts to fail.

Hi sorry for late reply but my number is stored as my number in mums phone
but when mum rings me it comes up unknown but have never had a problem with
her phoning me before

Do calls from your Mum's phone to any other number, show caller-ID?

Incidentally, if calls from her number to your phone are shown as unknown, this appears to contradict the previously reported symptoms of the call not ringing.

Calls either ring on your phone, or they go direct to voicemail.
