Hi there, I’m currently in Portugal but I need to make a call to a landline in London, but I haven’t been able to. May you please help?

Can you receive calls and texts?

Do you have signal?

Also, what happens if you try and make a call?

Yes I can and signal is also fine.

The problem is only on calling UK.

Can you try manually connecting to another network in the phone settings, to see if you can make calls?

There's two account-level settings needed to use EE phones outside the UK

1: International roaming - enables your phone to connect to foreign networks

2: Call abroad & premium rate. It sounds like this may not be enabled.

Manually connecting to an alternative local network, will be the test.
