Internation dial tone when In UK

I’ve had two calls recently where the caller has advised they’ve had an international dial tone when calling me, making it look like I’m abroad.

I’ve been at home on both occasions connected to WiFi calling.

Any idea why this is happening?

Without giving your exact position away, are you near an international border, or near the coast?

When I dial out it’s the normal dial tone.

It happened when I was called from a BT & Tesco mobile.

Is this only when you are in one location connected to WiFi Calling?

If yes, have you tried disconnecting or are you connected due to low signal?

It’s appears to only happen at home, I use WiFi calling because I have bad mobile signal.

I’ve had a few calls recently where i am the uk and callers have advised me that they had an international dialling tone . Ad though Iam abroad .
is this normal or is there a problem

The next step I would recommend would be speaking with our technical care team who can complete a full diagnostics.

Hi,

I have called people too this week and it's happening to me. But strangley my boyfriend is on o2 and it's also happening to him. We are in West Yorkshire, but has been working in Manchester all week.

It's so weird.

Any ideas on what's going on, please?

Hi,

I am also having the same problem. When people are calling me they are receiving an international ring tone.

I’m glad I’m not the only customer affected. I’ve reset, rebooted and still no joy.
