No service abroad

Currently I am in Hungary ,and I tred to activate my pay as you go SIM card ,but unfortunately I don't have any network services.

Catch 22

Without network,I am not able to top up my SIM card account,I can't make a call or receiving calls or messages.

Any idea?

Did you activate the SIM card in the UK before travelling abroad?

Pay as you go SIM cards do need activated on the EE network in the UK, before this will work abroad.

Once you use this in the UK this will activate for you.
