My Smartphone is not receiving texts

Hello everyone. Recently my smartphone has not been receiving texts and I am unsure why. I have done a lot of Googling on this and have done many methods but, I am still getting the same issues. This is important for me because there are some sites that I am a member of in which when I enter my password I also get a text message which then gives me a code to enter. Please help; thank you.

What phone are you using?

Does this happen with all texts or just certain numbers?

Hello Jon_K, thank you for your reply. My phone is a Motorola G7 Power. With some of the sites I am a member of I need to put in a code sent by text after I put in the password. It is happening with all texts.

Can you receive texts from your contacts?

If you text NUMBER to 150, do you get a reply?

Did the text show as sent when you messaged 150?

Can you try your SIM in another phone to see if you can receive texts?

Hi Leanne_T, firstly to let you know I don't have another phone...1 is enough for me. I did send a text to 150 it didn't send at all. Now I am really baffled by this.

I am in the UK. No I haven't changed my smartphone or my EE account.
