Got these 2 messages today. Any ideas? BTW senders phone has no entry for it

@amjams It’s not a scam message. Do you have MMSs enabled on your device? if you don’t get get that message so you can get that MMS via EEs portal. You should also receive a code. But there is occasionally a glitch where you receive that message, and you haven’t received a MMS at all..

Thank you for your reply the person that the message is apparently from has no knowledge of it no is there anything on his phone to suggest he sent anything

@amjams : This is a valid text from EE when you are being sent an MMS & your phone is not set up for them. For most phones, you can download the MMS settings needed from the online set up tool , so you can receive MMS directly w/out being directed to EE's d/load site.

I've had exactly the same, 1 on work phone 1 on personal first from my boss second from my daughter, spoke to both of them neither sent me anything!! - Scam??

Hi @Ray105

If you’ve received a message from one of your contacts saying:

"I've sent you an EE Photo/Video Message. Go to https://eeuk.mms.ee.co.uk/eeuk/ Your message is valid for 7 days."

This is an EE message, and could mean that your phone needs to be set up for picture messaging or the message could not be delivered at the time.

Please download the MMS settings if needed from the EE Setup (wdsglobal.com) for your device.

No nothing at all, and yes there was a password , interesting tho that the log in on the phone number started 447( 9 digits)

+44 is the International code for UK.

No, the '7' says it's a UK mobile no. Replace the '44' by '0' & you get '07( 9 digits)' the normal form of a UK mobile no.
