Constant calls from "Amazon"

Is anyone else getting multiple calls allegedly from Amazon. Have had a call from an 07712 prefixed no. every 5-6 minutes. I tried to get assistance but the online chat went down and now it will not connect.

You can report spam calls by texting CALL (number call was received from) to 7726

I just came to the forum as I’m getting calls every 7 minutes from the same prefix which is 07896 (coincidentally, the same prefix as my number).

Please report these calls by texting CALL followed by the number that called to 150, and this will be investigated.

I am reporting them, but every call is a different number and i get them every 7 minutes. Is there anything else that can be done?

How many have you received? You will be able to change your mobile number through our customer service team, if it's too often.

In my case I have had the same number for over 20 years and it is now part of me. I feel changing your number is not the solution but an easy fix for service providers. More needs to be done by service providers and Government to stamp out these scams.

Yes! Just this morning I have had 8 calls from "amazon" from a number starting with 07494 (the same prefix as my number....)

I'm having the same issue. I had 8 back to back calls today. All starting with the same prefix as my number, but all the last 6 digits were different.

This does not work, whenever I send this text I just get "sorry we do not recognise this country"

What was the first five digits of the number that prompted the not recognised reply?

Hello. All the numbers start with 07960, which is what my number starts
with.

Hey. I was sending the message to 150. As this was what someone from EE
advised on one of these threads. This is the full message.

“Sorry we couldn't find the country you requested.

Reply CALL followed by the destination you would like to call to 150, For
example CALL ITALY”
