I’m trying to ring numbers from UAE to uk and all numbers are barred. How do i fix this please?

Did you enable roaming before leaving for the UAE?

Thanks for coming here.

If you have a pay monthly account, could you check your roaming status by logging into your My EE account online go to Menu > Account Settings > Parental and Data Controls > Enable Roaming and also Call abroad, do they show as ticked?

Unfortunately not… only just moved to EE the day I flew out on a pay as you go.

Can I still change the setting to access barring etc?

I’m on pay as you go and don’t have parental and data control options.

Did you use that PAYG SIM for making calls or texts in UK before you left to go abroad? EE PAYG SIMs need 1st activating on EE's home UK network. If it wasn't you can't now use it until you return to UK.
