Voicemail notifications

Hi,

I'm getting two notifications when I receive a voice a voice mail message. I get the system message but I also get a text message. How do I turn off the text messages and just get the system notification?

Thanks. That allows me to turn off the system notifications. I want to keep those. I want to stop it from sending me a text message notification. I think that's an EE setting rather than a phone setting, I might be wrong though...

If you call your voicemail and listen to the options do you have one for text notifications?

No. That seemed like the place to go, but I get an option of turning off "enhanced message alerts" but nothing about text alerts.

No. It's a text saying "Voicemail message received xx:xx on xxth Sept. Duration xx Sec. Click or call 22201 to hear this message at your normal rate." But I also get the system notification.

I was on BT where the system notifications were not available and I got a text. I've switched to EE and now I'm getting both.

I believe the text notifications that you're describing are these enhanced message alerts,

Try disabling these via the voicemail menus and see if you get the behaviour you'd prefer - worst happens is that you need to re-enable them after.
