Not able to send / receive TEXTs while abroad - PAYG (calls work)

Hi - I'm currently abroad - On PAYG - active SIM - I can make and receive calls (ie roaming works). I can send texts to 150 (check balance etc) and I also receive replies from 150.

My issue is that I am not receiving any other texts and also not able to send any texts

@dps1976 Abroad is a big place where are you exactly ?

Hi guys,

thanks for the reply - managed to sort it out by doing the following

1) after (another) reboot I was able to send TEXTs but still not receive any

2) I then switched my wifi off and set my EE sim as my default data sim, enabled roaming etc - I got a prompt to sign in to the local network which took me to the EE page to buy a roaming add-on. After this step I also started receiving new TEXTs
