Yes. If an EE representative has called you directly using the number 07973 100 194, you will not be able to call back on that number. Please contact Customer Services directly on 150.

I've just been called by this number, I had previously spoken to EE for assistance so this thread is reassuring and makes sense. However, I am currently abroad and concerned this call will cost me the same 1.20GBP per minute as all other incoming calls, can anyone confirm this call would be chargeable or free?

Thanks for taking the time to reply, that's disappointing to learn, the reason to speak to someone from EE was regarding the roaming charges, not much sense in adding to them by receiving their call!

I am surprised it isn't free if coming from the EE call center, is there an alternative method I can ask for?

If you're within the EU, then calling 150 is free as are incoming calls.

If you're outside the EU, then @James_B suggestion of online chat is the way to go.

Hi both,

I have already had a conversation with an EE representative, I used FB messenger and was told that I would get a message arranging a suitable time for a call, as soon as was possible.

About 2 hours later I received a call from a mobile number I didn't recognise and was also cautious about the call charges, so I didn't pick up, I now know this was an EE number.

I'm in Australia BTW.

Further update, I was replied to on the chat, the message was that EE would cover the cost of the call so i wouldn't have to pay it, result! Way to go EE :thumbsup:.
