Not receiving any texts from UK when abrod

Hi, this is my second holliday this year when i can’t receive any text when i’m abroad. When i come back in UK then arrive all the text during the holliday. I called ee after last holliday and they told me to call them when i’m abroud, now i’m abroad and called them back today. They told me everything is ok with my account and to try to call them back when i’m back in UK. I don’t understand nothing. If anyone had this issue and can help please leave a message.

@mariuspatru Are you on contract or PAYG ? Where are you ? As you can make calls obviously you have a working signal.

I traveled in many countries, didn’t work to any of them. I have signal, i can call, i can use data, the only probleme i can’t receive any texts. When i’ll be back in UK i will get all off them in airport right after i switch off airplane mode

Are you able to manually connect to an alternative local network?

Were they standard SMS messages or were they sent using a messaging app?

Are you only seeing this issue with one particular contact or everyone?

Are the texts from a company or a personal phone?
