Sending text messages from Zanzibar

I have purchased a text bindle

for use in Zanzibar. I have only been able to send 2 texts so far, the rest are failing to send. Does anyone have any pointers please?

Hi Yes, I am texting UK numbers & have received a text from one of the numbers. However, my reply failed to send & I’ve been unable to send any texts apart from 2 shortly after we first arrived. Several before then has failed to send.

Are you in the same location as when you were able to send texts?

Are your contact numbers saved in the international format?

Does your phone indicate it's still connected to a mobile network?

everything is set up properly as I’ve managed to send 2 texts but failed with lots more. Can’t work out why & can’t find a live chat or something similar with EE to raise the issue with them. I don’t have a calls package so not sure I can call 150 charge free.

Do the texts only fail to particular numbers?

Were you able to check the number format in your contacts?

Is your phone still showing a network connection?

Are you still in the same location as when you sent the texts successfully?

Are the texts being sent as standard SMS or iMessage/Google Chat etc.?

@Regharvey : Are you on contract or PAYG? If PAYG, do you have any credit remaining?
