Calling the UK from Malta

I cannot call the uk from my mobile whilst in Malta. I have turned roaming on via the settings and by texting ROAMING to 150 and it’s enabled. I also have the network selection set to automatic. I have logged into my ee online and found under data controls that enable roaming and make calls abroad from the uk are blocked. When I activate these, it says sorry we’re having problems, text INFo to 150 to make your changes. This only give me a list of words to text 150. Does anyone know how to enable calling to the uk? I can’t seem to find a chat service for ee.

If you can't enable the Roaming Abroad and the Call Abroad & Premium Rate settings of your online MyEE, you will need to call CS. Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. via Skype over WiFi. It should be free.
