Good morning...have just enabled WiFi calling on my phone..when I use this will it use my data allowance (which I have tons of...but will never use) or my talk minutes (which I only have 250 of) and are very precious. Thank you

WiFi Calling is not a way of getting cheap or free calls but simply a way of routing them when the mobile signal is weak or non-existent.

Remember "calls" on WhatsApp are only possible between app users.

WiFi-calling provides an extension to mobile coverage, and works for any calls that you would otherwise make or receive over the mobile network. Calls to and from landlines being a prime example.

There's no charge for using WiFi-calling, and just means you can continue to use your phone for calls & texts when you might otherwise have no service,
