My current active add-ons on my contract states the following:

£2 per day for EU Roaming This add-on cannot be removed

Free

Does this mean that I will not be charged for using my mobile in Portugal later this month and that I do not need to purchase a roaming pass

Apparently I have Roam Anywhere activated.

Thanks for coming here 🙂

If you have not upgraded and changed your plan and contract since before 7 July 2021, you can use your allowance in the EU. This includes up to 50GB of data.

If you have upgraded or taken the contract after this date, you would be charged the £2 per day to use your allowance abroad. You can find all available add-ons and costs on our Roaming Help page.

Before you travel please check your My EE account to make sure roaming and call abroad is active.

unless you have bought the Roam Abroad Pass for £10 pm.

If you have this pass, you would not be charged the £2 and can use your allowance, including up to 50GB of data 🙂
