topic big gaming lag in early morning in Gaming

has anything changed in how EE handles gaming in recent weeks? I've got FTTP with a full fibre gigabit account. Over the past 2-3 months i've started getting really bad lag when playing online games at about 5-7 am (i'm an early riser). nothing has changed in hardware or method of connection and the lag disappears later in morning. ping checks seem ok. just wondered if anything had been changed in the network before doing tons of software diagnostics. thanks.

Hi @hugophibes

Welcome to the community.

I'm not aware of any recent changes that could have caused this. If you're not already, I'd recommend using a wired connection.

It may also be worth taking a look at our Fix An EE Broadband Connection Problem help page. There are some troubleshooting steps and a line checker on there too.

Let us know how you're getting on.
