Texting BLACKOPS7 to 150 doesn't work

As title says, with the new promotion for Black Ops 7, to get a code for the beta of BO7 you have to text BLACKOPS7 to 150.

However, on 2 different EE phones, all I am getting back is information on how to check balance, data roaming and how to turn on/off voice mails and access packs.

Is this promo for contract only and not available to pay as you go customers?

With existing EE pay monthly mobile customers can also text BLACKOPS7 to 150.
